I have trained and worked as an assult medic, we go in with the main groups of assaulters and give medical assistance to theose that are injured. Ambulance crews and normal Paramedics cannot be called forward until the assault is over and all perpetrators disarmed or place out of acion. This eats in to the Golden-hour, so we provide that care and also defend the casualty and ourselves.

Should we be a specific asset traind to the same level as assaulters or as is more likely just firearms trained with abit of tactical awareness.

I have lived both sides of the fence.

Today I am both happy and a little sad.

I am happy the Denmark is through to the World Cup. I am not a keen follower of football but enjoy the World Cup competition.

Secondly I am sad because of the extremist Muslims. I have no beef what so ever with where someone comes from or what god the profess to believe in. Lets face it most religion lokk to the same god it just the detail that gets them fighting.

I am however sure that it seems that Danmark is fighting the war on two fronts, in Afghanistan and here at home. Ther seems to be more strife about extremeism everyday. As usual it is stirred up that it involves every moslem but it does not. Danmark is saying that it does not have to bow down to immigrants just to help them intergrate. It is saying you may come and live here if you are prepared to be a law abiding citizen who wants to contibute. If you want to sponge off us, break laws and expound terrorism then we are going to do something about it. unlike our eurpopean neighbours who are bowing down to them because it may upset the criminals and terrorists. Well I say what about me? I live in Danmark, I left as a child and then came back after living as a citizen of the Netherlands. I live here in peace, abide by our laws and do not seek to cause my neighbours problems.

Political correctness says that you must look at the individuals rights, I say if the individual is prepared to harm others then they are breaking those same human rights they will cowardly hide behind.

I remember an extremist islamic terrorist saying the do not accpet or observe western laws. No you don’t but you are quick to use thse same laws you do not observe or recognise to get you a nice piece of money and get out of jail. Coward and morally weak they are.

Martyrs are supposed to suffer for their beliefs not take the cosy option. That policeman shot me while I was trying to kill as many people as possible so I am going to sue because he ijured me.

Keep on Danmark stay strong!

Tactical medic is one of my specialisations, I have trained long and hard and have found it to be very rewarding. I don’t lik ebeing praised for my work and just like the feeling of having being instrumental in turning a moments violence back into a life without or limited suffering. I am proud to be one but I am more proud of those that make difficult decisions daily.

I wonder at times if the world hass gone completely mad. I am here on the verge of starting anew project and the company has moved the time forward to an unachieveable date.
They want a way of introducing medical teams into their buisness and from that protecting their operatives from danger. Not a problem for me as you are going to pay me but frustrating.
